Document Alert – Renewal Reminder

Privacy Policy - Document Alert

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2025

Document Alert is an app that helps users track document and product expirations by storing entries locally on the device. This policy explains how we handle data.

1. Data we collect

By default, Document Alert stores document entries, reminder schedules, and attached images (receipts or documents) locally on your device. We do not collect personal data such as names, emails, phone numbers, or location unless you voluntarily provide them when contacting support.

2. Local storage

All entries and photos are saved on your device. We do not upload these items to our servers. Exported files (CSV/PDF) are created on the device and only shared if you choose to share them.

3. Third-party services

In the initial release we do not use third-party analytics or advertising. If third-party services (ads, analytics, or cloud backup) are added later, we will update this policy and list what data those services collect, along with links to their privacy policies.

4. Notifications

The app uses local/system notifications to remind users about upcoming expirations. Notifications are generated on the device and do not transmit personal data to us.

5. Children’s privacy

The app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. To delete data, use the app's delete options or uninstall the app.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Revisions will be posted on this page with an updated date.
