Pet Medical Records PRO is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share data.

1. Data Collected

a) Local-only data (default): Pet profiles, vaccination records, treatment notes, images you attach and reminder settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded unless you opt in to cloud backup or sync.

b) Account & cloud data (optional, PRO/subscription): If you enable cloud backup or multi-device sync, we collect and store your account identifier (email or generated user id), and encrypted copies of your pet records on our secure cloud storage provider. We do not use account emails for marketing.

2. Purpose of Data Use

• Provide backup and sync functionality (if enabled).

• Allow export of records to PDF/CSV when you choose.

• App operation and purchase verification.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party cloud storage providers (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) and payment processors (Google Play Billing). We will list exact providers and link to their privacy policies if these services are enabled. No analytics or advertising in the PRO product unless explicitly disclosed.

4. Security

• Data stored locally is saved inside app-specific storage.

• Data in transit during backup/sync uses TLS/HTTPS.

• Cloud-stored data is encrypted at rest (AES-256 or equivalent).

• You can enable PIN or biometric lock for the app.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

• Local data: remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

• Cloud backup: you may delete backups from within the app. Deleting your account removes backups from our servers after a short retention period (specified in-app). Contact support to request full deletion.

6. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy. New versions will appear on this page with an updated date.
