WeightTrack PRO is built with your privacy as the highest priority. This policy explains how your data is collected, stored, used, and protected. The app is designed to work offline and keeps your information fully under your control.

1. Data Collection and Storage

WeightTrack PRO is an offline-first application.
All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.

Local Storage Only

The app stores the following information locally and securely:

  • Basic profile details (age, height, gender)

  • Weight logs & daily tracking entries

  • Goals & reminders

  • Progress photos (if added)

No Cloud Sync

  • The app does not send any data to cloud servers.

  • No external databases or third-party servers are used.

Your Data Ownership

All information entered into the app remains entirely on your device.
You retain full ownership of your data.

2. Permissions We Use & Their Purpose

To provide certain features, WeightTrack PRO may request the following permissions:

Camera & Photos

Purpose:

  • To allow you to take or upload “Progress Photos.”

Storage:

  • Photos are saved inside the app’s private folder
    OR in your device gallery (based on your choice).

  • Photos are never shared externally.

Notifications

Purpose:

  • To send local reminders about daily logging, sleep tracking, and weight goals.

  • No data is sent outside the device.

Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint / Face ID)

Purpose:

  • To enable the optional Security Lock feature for protecting your data.

Privacy:

  • We do not collect, store, or access your biometric data.

  • Authentication is handled entirely by the Android operating system,
    which only returns whether authentication was successful.

3. Health Connect (Optional Feature)

WeightTrack PRO may integrate with Google Health Connect, but only if you choose to enable it.

Use & Access

  • The app will read or write fitness data only after your explicit permission.

  • All Health Connect data remains on your device and is not shared with any server.

Compliance

Use of Health Connect follows the Health Connect Permissions Policy,
including all Limited Use requirements.

4. Third-Party Services

No Analytics

We do not use analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).

No Ads

The app does not display advertisements.

No Tracking

No personal data, device identifiers, or usage patterns are tracked or shared.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because the app stores data only on your device:

Uninstalling the App

  • When you uninstall WeightTrack PRO,
    all data (logs, settings, and photos) are automatically deleted by Android.

  • Once uninstalled, the data cannot be recovered.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
You are advised to review this page occasionally for any changes.
